Re: $15K India F1-F6 futures Feb/March 2017
Singles QF results - The German continues to shine on this circuit. The doubles final will be between champions of past 3 weeks - Balaji/Vishnu and Sood brothers. Apparently, the German had a bit of luck in the second set when Vishnu started cramping at 5-5. Vishnu was just pushing his serve and ve...

Re: Somdev Dev Varman ...

AITA members are far too powerful and egoistic to listen to a player (former player) and change their policies/...

Re: General Tennis Discussions
Not sure if this has been discussed already What is the role of state tennis associations in our country ? While i am sure they have responsibilities framed by AITA, do they have to submit an annual report to AITA on the development of Tennis in their state. Shouldn't they have details related to fu...

Re: Davis Cup 2017 - India
There is also some speculation there about likely changes in captain and coach due to indiscipline issue. In one other report it was also mentioned that Somdev might be interested in coache's role. Very convenient to have this indiscipline issue related news published in the newspapers just before ...

Re: ITF junior circuit- India - August- December 2016
Thanks Sameer for starting this thread and posting the results. I wish there was a way to follow live scoring of Juniors as well. Surprisingly, Nitin Kumar Sinha who beat Aditya Vashisht, Nikshep and Manish Sureshkumar last week to win the Junior Nationals lost tamely to Yugal Bansal. 17 year old Ma...

[R1] (4) Somdev DEVVARMAN (IND,155) vs. Ramkumar RAMANATHAN (IND,267) 6-4
Somdev wins the first set with one break. It was closely fought, could have gone either way.

Apart from Murray, Yuki hasn't lost to a foreigner this year. I think something happens to him when he plays against fellow Indians. He's lost to Somdev and VSP this year and I remember him losing against Sanam and KU too a couple of years back. Yuki needs to get a good coach and a physio to travel...

Sanam served 6 double faults against Jeevan. It is 3 - 3 in the first set in Vijay Sundar Prashanth Vs James Duckworth match and VSP has already served 3 double faults. :damn: Already four break of serves in this set . If only VSP can reduce his errors, he has a great chance to win this match. Ok, J...
