Re: African ITF Series April-May 2018 ( Nigeria,Uganda)

Vishnu, could you please just post a snippet of the quoted text rather than the whole thing when you respond to someone’s post? It makes reading and managing the thread easier. Thanks.

With his debut match out of the way, it is time for the Sumeet Mixer to grind the Chinese into Mulberry pulp, and put an Indian ink seal on their paper.
But we are playing Prajnesh Gunneswaran not Sumit in the live rubber! However, gun may be more lethal than a mixer :D

How fit is Bops in singles? Is he an option to play a potential decisive 5th rubber? I just feel that if it comes to that situation, some experience may be more important than actual skills....
Careful! Some people have been called morons for even asking about Rohan playing singles.

Re: Davis Cup 2018 - India

Does China have two players named Wu? Is the Chinese tennis federation wooing Wu's? Or is "Wu" like "Lou" in the West? I am a little worried about the line calls. Especially one line judge name Hok Ai is suspected to be biased - and he can't be challenged! 😜 Meanwhile somewhere in China, a gentlema...

Davis Cup 2018 - India

Why does this thread say Re: Davis Cup 2018 - India? We should drop the Re: reference. It’s jarring to the eye. Thanks Mods.

Seems like Japan would be the first one as India won 11-1 not 18-0 a week earlier per Wikipedia.

Re: ITF junior/ Pro career ranking comparisions/ co-relation

Thanks Sameer. I can’t believe how much work we collectively did on this topic. Where is Kujo now a days? Is he still even logging in? I miss him in the forum as I used to look forward to his posts so much in the olden days.

Re: Australian Open 2018

Here is an older discussion. Lots of analysis. In the wrong thread though; there was a request by Prasen at that time to move the items and it may be time to do so now. Sameer, when you find your analysis, please consider consolidating the various analyses so it is easily accessible, http://www.spor...

Re: Australian Open 2018

In the US, you can watch most matches on ESPN2 in live streaming. Not sure about other countries. I’m sure Yuki’s match will be shown there.

Re: World class players from India

I'm sorry that I proposed anything. If you don't get the general gist and continue to try to quantify it, then I'm sorry; I don't have a better way of presenting my view. Why don't you try instead to give your definitions and let me poke holes in it?

Dinapickwriters -- great that you absolutely disagree. Please present some thoughts behind your disagreement. It's always nice to hear multiple viewpoints. Thanks.
