Why is Labu playing for Australia in these matches? He isn’t part of their world cup squad, right?

Wasn’t Manika the one who caused a stink about something recently? Did the entitlement curse strike again?

Just look at the tail end scorecard for Ireland here. It’s a pity our main bowlers don’t take their batting seriously. Even in the first ODI against Australia, Cummins added valuable runs for the tenth wicket. Shameful for India. https://www.espncricinfo.com/series/ireland-in-england-2023-1336035/en...

If you’re that good, academies will sponsor you. They’ll take a cut of your earnings if you deliver.

Re: Sumit Nagal thread
The US college route is a great option. It’s much better than just being in an academy or being given funds for Indian 17-18 year olds.

It’s quite simple. Produce results and you’ll get sponsorship.

Re: Mukund Sasikumar thread
That’s a poor score line in the first round. Does not bode well for the next round. Let’s see. If his results are poor in the next few tournaments, his tirade against non-selection for India duty will not find many sympathizers, regardless of how aggrieved he feels.

I guess the commoners don’t have the wealth. Oh, I forgot. It’s all sitting in the London Tower.

Re: Sports and Performance Enhancing Drugs (Doping)
I’m of the opinion that it’s the player/parent who is more knowledgeable about the spinach varieties. It’s just too obvious to procure themself than via the coach and adopt the innocence line if caught. One coach doesn’t have the collective informed that all their wards and families have. The reward...

It’s not that they don’t need to be shown documentaries or educated in many ways. By all means, do that. It’s just the naivety in assuming that they are so innocent. Ten year olds are watching porn on their mobiles daily. You think they don’t know what they are asked to consume is dangerous? Come on...

Wow, what naïveté! My god, I didn’t know young minds need grisly documentaries to understand the risks. Jeez.

This is not about Stimac as much as it is about the general use of an astrologer in team selection. I’m indifferent to Stimac. I think he’s done okay and should stay. But consulting an astrologer in an official capacity is nonsense.
