Dubai 2005
Preview For the first time since the beginning of the A1 Grand Prix season in September 2005 at Brands Hatch, A1 Team India was really close to the frontrunners in terms of pace, with the gap reducing to 3 or 4 tenths of a second. Compared to the beginning of the season when A1 Team India was 3 to ...

India gives it to pakistan (in her backside....) at Malaysia
I have a new found respect for Armaan... the way he screwed Pakistan from the backside was hilarious. I am sure the Pakistan Team wished that the Indian car was well lubed. woohoo I am sure the Pakistanis are not happy, since the Indians certainly crossed the line of control on that occasion..... On...

@Raul Are you really that dumb or do you just act dumb (if so you are doing an outstanding job).... the whole first para of the post clearly stated why i consider scott speed one of the quicker drivers.. i dont see why you keep harping that i think he is one of the slower divers.... if it is a lacko...

I know racing but I am not much into intricacies involved in it. Here is a question, I heard tht track temperatures are maintained and will be constant all all times. So even if it is a hot day how does it affect a tyre's performance (track temeperature is maintained right)? the track temperatures ...

India did really good in 3rd parctice but so did CHina and pakistan. They infact beat us. I don't know what's going on but something is fishy. Maybe the other countries wants to experiment so they might've done something wrong which gave us the chance. tyres... they make a huge difference in a circ...

@Raul Dont know what races you have been watching. Scott Speed has not been driving for the last three meets (Estoril, eastern creek and malaysia).... Bryan Herta has been driving. In Germany, he qualified 2nd .... he is one of the fast drivers..also he has done pretty well in GP2 (which had one of ...

@raul
By following the races and looking at their performance..... by the way how do you rate the drivers?
Also, the guys in the 1.55s ran new tyres while the others in the 1.58s ran old tyres. armaan did not become 3 seconds faster than piquet on true pace, if that is what you thought....

JUST IN
India finished the 3rd practice session in 6th place. Fantastic....i guess they have found something. hopefully, we maintain this position through the weekend, cmon team india..... only worry, is that the normally slow drivers did 1.55s while the normally faster drivers did 1.58s.....

will Narain drive for team A1 India
Initially, when Team India was announced, there were rumours tht Narain may drive for Team India. At that time Narian rubbished the rumours (of course while he was still eyeing a F1 drive). However, now it appears that since he is struggling to find a race seat, Narain may actually race for the prid...

"Well not that a good practice for India. Well what team does China have? Chinese or foreign. THey don't seem to do good either." I am also curious to know, considering they ran at the fag end of the first session, doing very few laps and int he second session, they were almost second quic...

GPMasters
The Gpmasters series appears to have started on a great note last weekend. The reviews of the race have been so good. Nigel mansell won from fittipaldi close behind. the qualifying times were also so close. fantastic. I hope they show the races live on cabletv in India. The website says that Zee spo...

Who should run the Indian team
Obviously, if we have qualified (not only educationally but practically) people to manage the team, i would be the proudest person. But look at the reality, We have 50% of the team, atleast all the important guys all foreigners, and not the best at that. There is no indian being trained for the role...

@ Raul No offence to you or the team management (whose only aim appears to be to try and teach a boy who has not performed very well in either FBmw or A1gp to drive a racecar) , but that is the most illogical argument. That is like saying that Ferrari should not field Michael Schumacher in china nex...

hi everyone, the malaysia race is coming up this weekend so i thought i'd start a new topic. i've just heard that armaan will be continuing in the car. i don't know what the theory behind it is, but i thought that the team would change over but it looks like his father has decided to leave him in th...
