India's tour of Windies in May/June 2006

Catches win matches!............heard of that? ;) its not like i'm just blaming wicketkeeping and dropped catches for the draw the way some people in the forum love to blame greg chappel for everything. this is different. if the catch of chanderpaul were not dropped at that point, west indies had no...

India's tour of Windies in May/June 2006

man, what a match it was! it reminded me of last years ashes series with harmison and flintoff trying desperately to finish off the aussies with harmison finally getting kasprowicz out in the last over. as good a match as this was, our inability to win it just exposed our weakness in 2 areas - slips...

India's tour of Windies in May/June 2006

Greg chappell put this series loss in the correct perspective when he said that it was no catastrophe. we win some and we lose some and it all just adds up as experience at the end of the day. it would have been disturbing if we lost by a huge margin. but in this series, the first 3 matches went dow...

its funny to read about "nitten" "kirrtane's" views on current indian tennis. funny cos he never amounted to anything much while he was in his prime and so feels it right to go around **tching about the current youngsters. and as always, it seems its the "infrastructure"...

Mahesh Bhupathi thread...

i'll go out on a limb and say that Mahesh is the best doubles player in the world, ever man, that limb sure is running the risk of getting run over. mahesh is nowhere close to being the best doubles player ever. most of his partners have been better IMO. right from Paes to Mirnyi to woodbridge all ...

The reasons why we are not producing champions

The fact that rupesh got the support from bose foundation highlights another drawback of our country. Here you get the support based on caste and reliogion. Bose foundation could not find any one better than rupesh because rupesh is also a bengali .In our country these factors play a very important ...

The reasons why we are not producing champions

For all their hard work they currently are amongst the best 300 players in the WORLD. Just sit back and think about that for a minute! Imagine you own field of work or study.
