Re: ITF Junior Circuit 2022- India

I have also read about her age related issues. It seems she was not selected for our under 14 teams because of these issues. That is why I am not so upbeat on her as the other 13-14 years which have shone in this circuit like Aishwarya and Maaya. Overall, I get a feeling that after dry pipeline for ...

Re: Zeel Desai thread

I guess Zeel is the only Indian playing on the professional circuit this week and she has at least justified her seeding. At W15 OBERPULLENDORF, Austria ( Indoor Hard) [R1] (5) Zeel Desai (IND,590) d. Denise Hrdinkova (CZE,782) 61 62 [R2] (5) Zeel Desai (IND,590) d. (WC) Veronika Bokor (AUT,1318) 60...

Re: ITF Junior Circuit 2022- India

Upsets galore in Boys in ITF J3 in Pune in second round. Top 3 seeds all went out - top seed Aman Dahiya lost to Hitesh Chauhan who has been showing some promising results this week, second seed Kriish Tyagi got upset by Indian American Srikeshav Murugesan after winning the first set 61- looks like ...

Re: Golf World Rankings of Indians

I do not understand economics of golf as a whole. How are they able to pay so much apparently to even top 400-500 golfers in the world. Much more than what Tennis players are getting especially so those below top 100 or even those in top 100. Each one has it's opinion, but for most I think golf is n...

Re: Chess: World Team Championship 2022, Jerusalem

There is one more fun fact which i found out just recently.......Chess will be there in Asian games 2023!!! So, if we send our strongest team we may even win gold there....There are 5 gold events there!!! Chess was part of Asian games in 2006 and 2010. We won 2 golds in 2006- mixed team event and K...

Withdrawal deadline for Solapur is November 29, 2 Pm GMT. So, entry list will keep dropping till then. All those who are shown as priority 1 against their name are likely to stay. Ankita may just be seeded and mostly Rutuja will get into main draw. Tuesday night India time would be good time to look...

Niki lost in the final 16 46 against top seed Orlov. Orlov has been in great form this week. Still great 4 weeks for Niki. Doubles titles in all 4 weeks and a final, SF and a QF in singles where he lost to players who won titles in this series.

Re: ITF Junior Circuit 2022- India

Kriish is coming along really well. He will be close to 240 in the rankings now. As I see he will be the 8th best ranked player in ITF junior rankings from those born 2007 and later. If he continues in that territory very good chance that he will go to top 60 or so by end of next year to eligible fo...
