Re: Indian Table Tennis Thread ...
This was likely what we would have done previously but it gets harder with Sreeja in the top-40 now. Sreeja is now new India #1 at #38 , 1 spot ahead of Manika who is at #39. That makes selection of our womens team even more difficult, we will have to see if Manika along with one of the Mukherjees ...

Another disappointing one sided loss for Ankita in first round of W50 in Georgia, She lost Catherine Harrison (USA,485) 26 06.
Her game seems to be totally off right now.

Yes, earlier they had decided to field same wrestlers for the final qualifying scores. But, now taken aback by results in mens freestyle, they have decided to hold fresh trials. Mens freestyle gave us 2 medals last time, so not even getting a wrestler qualified with only 1 chance left is appalling. ...

Only if Bops agrees to team up with him. No other Indian has the ranking to make a pair with Yuki which will be good enough for Olympics.

Re: Roland Garros Claycourt Run-Up Tournaments 2024
Olivetti serve got broken after they were a break up and he also served a double fault at 5-3 in tie break. But, Yuki had a fantastic lob at 5-6 on opponent serve to win it for them.

No quota in Greco Roman. Only Sunil Kumar won a round and lost in QF against Asian games champion from Uzbekistan.
Yes, mens freestyle is a worry. Do not see those 2 medals of last time getting repeated. Nobody has even qualified as yet. Need to make up for those in womens wrestling;

^^^ Rithvik never played singles on pro tour. He was decent in singles in juniors but went to US college at 17 and than disappeared from singles. Did not hear much about him in college tennis but came back and straightway became a doubles specialist. Along with Niki Poonacha, formed a formidable pai...

In Kazakhstan M15, Karan and Dev won their matches and made it to the QF. Than, in QF Karan upset top seed top seed #403 Vanshelboim 64 63 while Dev lost in 3 sets against second seed.
