Re: Solapur W25, N.Mumbai W25, Gwalior W15 - Dec 12/19/26, 2022

Withdrawal deadline for Solapur is November 29, 2 Pm GMT. So, entry list will keep dropping till then. All those who are shown as priority 1 against their name are likely to stay. Ankita may just be seeded and mostly Rutuja will get into main draw. Tuesday night India time would be good time to look...

Niki lost in the final 16 46 against top seed Orlov. Orlov has been in great form this week. Still great 4 weeks for Niki. Doubles titles in all 4 weeks and a final, SF and a QF in singles where he lost to players who won titles in this series.

Re: ITF Junior Circuit 2022- India

Kriish is coming along really well. He will be close to 240 in the rankings now. As I see he will be the 8th best ranked player in ITF junior rankings from those born 2007 and later. If he continues in that territory very good chance that he will go to top 60 or so by end of next year to eligible fo...

Great run by them. Niki is 347 and Rithwik is 375 in live rankings now. Once 15 more points are added for this week's title, Niki will move up to around 320 and Rithwik around 355. I don't know if they are playing any more tournaments this year. Maybe they will to make it top 300 and they can concen...

Re: Women's ITF tournaments abroad - Nov 2022

Yes, Ankita looked good today and also looked good while qualifying for WTA in Korea earlier. So, everything is not lost on her in singles as yet. She is losing 25 points from her 2019 points left in a couple of weeks time. So, 27 points earned from these 2 weeks will just about keep her to around 3...

And that is it for Ankita. It seems playing second match in a day proved too much for her.

At the W25 in Traralgon (AUS)

[SF] (5) Ankita Raina (iND,302) l. (8) Destanee Aiawa (AUS,401) 36 63 26

Re: Women's ITF tournaments abroad - Nov 2022

Early breaks exchanged and it is 2-2 in first set.

2 easy holds for 3-3.

Destanee holds for 4-3 and it seems Ankita has taken a medical timeout. :-(

And gets broken immediately for 3-5.

Destanee holds after a long service game to take the first set 6-3.

Asian nations continue to do well. Iran beats Wales 2-0. USA had earlier drawn with Wales. So, if USA loses to England today it will be tough for them to qualify it seems.
