Re: Arjun Kadhe thread

He is in the alternates list of 2 Kazkahstan challengers after next week. So, probably he will play 1 week of futures in Uzbekistan and than go to Kazakhstan for challengers.

Re: French Open 2018

Yes, so a bit tougher match for Yuki as Ruben Bemelmans played few tournaments on clay ... But clay is not Bemelmans's favorite court. [R1] Yuki Bhambri (IND,94) vs (LL) Ruben Bemelmans (BEL,111) This is significantly harder for Yuki now  Agreed. I was almost sure that he would win against Lu....

Re: French Open 2018

No chance of a LL spot since those go to the 4 best ranked losers. Nowadays they make a draw from LL spots+2. So, in this case they will draw 4 out top 6 best ranked losers. But, Prajnesh is not among top 6 best ranked losers too. So, unlikely for LL spot unless there are more withdrawals. I watche...

Re: French Open 2018

Anyway, Prajnesh is down a set 3-6 and an early break in second set.

Saw a few games in first set and Prajnesh is missing a lot compared to his earlier match. Nerves playing a key match ?

Re: French Open 2018

Prajnesh is 1-4 down in the first set.

He got broken after being 40-30 up serving at 1-2 and then missed 5 breakpoint chances to break right back. Now serving at 1-4.

Re: French Open 2018

Prajnesh's final qualifying match against Ymer is at 10 am local time on court 8. As many as 4 lucky loser spots have opened up in the main draw now. However, Prajnesh cannot rely on that as he is among the 2 lowest ranked players in the final qualifying round. Ymer has a fair chance of getting in a...

Re: African ITF Series April-May 2018 - Nigeria/ Uganda/ Zimbabwe

Both the Indians lost in the QF although Kunal put up a very good fight. [QF] (6) Kunal ANAND (IND,1095) l. (4) Tyler LU (USA,968) 46 76(0) 57 [QF] (8) S D Prajwal DEV (IND,1121) l. (2) David PEREZ SANZ (ESP,438) 46 57 Overall, decent trip for Prajwal Dev who will turn 22 in a couple of days time. N...

Re: French Open 2018

That is excellent news regarding Yuki's draw. A few days ago, I was thinking about draw for Yuki and thought ideal draw for him is to draw another Asian or an Australian (who are not so comfortable on clay) and the player I thought as the weakest was Yen-Hsun Lu. And he draws him now. Looks like our...

Re: French Open 2018

Who is Lee playing with at the French? He has tweeted that he is practicing. https://twitter.com/Leander/status/999220036697911296 As per the doubles entry list on the official website, Leander does not appear in the list. What is he practising for ? Roland Garros doubles entry list Yuki-Div...

Re: French Open 2018

Yes, as of now it looks like Prajnesh's best surface is clay. But, lets see how he plays with this confidence on hard and grass. I think now we will get more player who can say clay is my best surface. I think Sumit Nagal's best surface looks to be clay. Perhaps, for Sasi Mukund too.

Re: French Open 2018

What a beautiful display of clay court tennis by Prajnesh to pull off an excellent win. His forehand is really his strength and backhand is not bad at all.Must say the best I have seen an Indian player play on clay. If he plays like he would favoured to qualify.

Re: French Open 2018

Double fault by Arevalo and Prajnesh is now double break up 4-1 in the second set.

And holds at love for 5-1.
