Re: The Australian Open 2011

Congrats to Paes and Bhupati for reaching yet another grand slam final and all the best for the same. Anybody aware why Mahesh and Rodionova have given a walkover to their opponents in the mixed doubles quarterfinal? Mahesh's abdominal injury sustained during the doubles QF. Best of luck to our guy...

Re: The Australian Open 2011

And they've done it! (3) Bhupathi/Paes d. (8) Llodra/Zimonjic 6-4 6-4. Beautiful win. It was by no means easy for our guys, but they won all the big points. Just like old times, indeed!

Re: ATP World Tour Finals

The Poles went 3-0 in the round robin, which included a win over the Bryans. Can Mahesh and Max get the better of them in the SF? :goodluck:

Excellent win over the in-form former junior no. 1.

Re: Rajeev Ram thread...

At the Japan Open: [Q] Rajeev Ram (USA, 174) v. Guillermo Garcia-Lopez (ESP, 39) Garcia-Lopez is HOT, having beaten Nadal last week en route to a title. First set: So far Rajeev has wasted 6 break points, all virtual set points (at 4-4 and 5-5). Rajeev has yet to face a break point himself. 5-6. And...

Re: Sania Mirza - General Discussion of tennis matters

That's actually a relief, that she will be playing for two more years - that was probably the best case scenario in most of our minds considering her off court commitments and distractions. Hopefully she will not be carrying a one-foot-out attitude and but instead bear down and be the top-75, grand-...

Re: ATP Rogers Cup, Toronto - Aug 9, 2010

If Somdev had won that first set, which he should have, this could have been a different ballgame. Buji needs to cash in on his opportunities to avoid having an ever-so-slight mental letdown that can make a big difference for the rest of the match.

Re: ATP Rogers Cup, Toronto - Aug 9, 2010

What'd I tell you...Somdev breaks back...6-6! Somdev is the more solid player from the ground today. He is a little more patient than Monfils. Buji should win the match.

Re: ATP Rogers Cup, Toronto - Aug 9, 2010

Somdev broken at love...6-5 Monfils. Monfils is looking breakable, though, so Buji should buck up and get the job done.
