Re: North American ATP tournaments Feb-March 2018
Yuki in this form is going to beat Sock. Could be straights, I reckon.

Re: $50K CH - Asia - Bangkok, Shanghai & Ningbo(27-AUG - 16-
I am calling Sanam over Yuki on this one.. I think this match is a toss-up. Sanam seems to be playing at a slightly higher level right now, so he might win in straights. However, if Yuki makes it a dog fight, Sanam has a tendency to wilt. A little too much of respect for Sanam around here. Let me g...

Re: Indians in US College Tennis
If I recall correctly, Sanam had phenom potential but his lack of size was a possible barrier to reaching the highest levels. That has been true so far although I would have expected him to have done better in the college game (which is largely played by futures level players with only the top few ...

This is India's ex IT commissioner -- only a 4min clip but you have to listen to the whole thing to get to comments on Aadhar. Lets just say that I have no comment.

Re: Indians in US College Tennis
I feel for Sanam and the Cavs. Great comeback that was not to be. USC went up 3-0, but the Cavs came roaring back and tied the match at 3-3. Sanam was down a break in the 3rd at this point at 3-5, but broke back to bring the match back on serve at 4-5. 2 net cords and a few questionable calls by the...

Re: Cricket World Cup 2011 - in the sub-continent
There is no way you drop Kohli from the line-up. He has been a top performer for the last year and you cannot discount the runs he saves on the field. With Raina and Kohli on the field today, the fielding standards were at a different level vs what we have seen in the recent past. Yusuf has done not...

Re: $4.5M BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells, USA (March 2011)
Prashant -- I am not sure what Cahill was talking about because they showed the speedometer very often after the Somdev serve and it was generally in the 110-125 range! In addition as people have mentioned before, he was mixing it up really well. MB was out there with his wife watching the game and ...

Re: $4.5M BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells, USA (March 2011)
I've been watching on espn3 since late in the first set. Somdev is definitely frustrating Nadal by great retrieving & returning, and by hitting very slow speed serves (a lot of first serves sub-100 mph). In fairness though, Nadal is playing poorly by his standards. Think he was actually serving...

Re: $4.5M BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells, USA (March 2011)
Truly a great match by Somdev! Unfortunately got broken at love in both sets to when he was serving to stay in the set/match. But he was playing like he belonged and even let some rip late in the 2nd set.
Way to go Somdev!!
