This is probably a sign of how far Indian golf has come that I am writing this being slightly disappointed. A few years ago I would have given my left arm to see an Indian in a Masters let alone see one leading it but at the end of the second round I am disappointed because it could have been so mu...

Re: 2007 PGA Majors/WGC - THE MASTERS ( Jeev Milkha Singh and Vijay Singh)

I'm happy he made the cut. Considering he will be t-15 to t-20 at the end of the day and was t-10 yesterday, making the cut seems like a rather low target:) He definitely has the game to be in contention. If he can avoid the big bogeys (like he has in the past two rounds), he can stay atop the leade...

Re: 2007 PGA Majors/WGC - THE MASTERS ( Jeev Milkha Singh and Vijay Singh)

they just showed his second shot on the 18th. seemed to be in a greenhouse bunker (streaming video was not very clear) .. but should be able to make par I think.

Jeev thought he had too much club .. actually fell short:)

Re: Russian (Slavic?!) conspiracy against our Vishy?

Anand is just too mild-mannered and well-behaved to be an international sportsperson, especially a chess player  :D. A "genuine technical problem" behind FIDE's last little trick to deprive him of being on top of the world??! What a sweet, naive explanation!! At least this time the All In...

Re: Koneru Humpy - Player Thread

It is interesting to note that her rating is also good enough to be among the Top 20 in the Junior ranking list, but somehow she hasnt gotten that honor (both in the last list and in this one). I think she...

Re: Viswanathan Anand - Thread

Milkha Singh may have been ranked #1 going into Rome; Yohannan must have been top 3 at some point.
