Guys if there is a positive coming out of the I-League, that is that smaller clubs such as JCT, Churchill are doing well, which is showing that Indian football is beyond the big money clubs. Nice article. I think the only main improvements this year are: -Games played under lights, weekends mainly -Increased independance on clubs to promote, sell games -Increased TV live matches -Compulsory junior league -More prizemoney But apart from that its the same concept as the NFL. yeah true, what I would like to see is a rule for the clubs that when they sign a player they sign a contract for a set minimum period if that is legal. The reaon is some of our top clubs just bring players in from overseas and after one game when they do not score they tear up their contract. It is...

Great performance from the boys, I think looking at the points they will not qualify, but of course they have done India proud. Looking at the teams they are playing, they are improving thats the main thing. And with the I-League introducing a u-19 competition, they will be playing regularly i hope....
