As far as Indian pros are concerned, they restring only when the strings are broken or about to break. This is basically because they have to pay for the stringing and many of them for the strings too. Stringing costs anywhere upwards of Rs. 100/= depending on the place. In fact, the stringing price...

You have to wait. Nadal withdrew from Hamburg with blisters. I think it is good for him - he has been playing so many matches continuously - three tiltels, a runner-up and doubles too.

All the best for your interview. Job is more important than missing a doubles match.

In my opinion, the ball rules are not strictly followed ( even announced) in ITF events. It is probably left to the organisers.

Hi Edwin Welcome to the forum and Bombay. As Sunil has suggested, MSLTA may be a good place to start. CCI has very good facilities and has a free coaching scheme for upcoming players. Vijayendra Laad (for Piperno / Natekar ) runs it. If you can't get into that scheme you need a memeber / coach to le...

Pune has very good facilities - probably one of the best in terms of per capita court availabilty. Also, there are some decent coaches. e.g Nadan Bal, Hemant Bendre etc. - especially for people aspiring to start pro tennis. All the best.

Who says Indian men's tennis is in trouble...?
It has become a fashion for the some of the old players (even the current players) to say that this or that is lacking in our current / next generation players. I am sorry to state that they do JS other than just criticize. Almost all are self centred and do very little unless what they do someway b...

The challenger, the week before DC, can work only if there are enough courts in the club. This is because the teams need practice courts one week before. Also, the teams are allowed to practice on the centre court for limited time. In my opinion, we should play to our strength and choose hard courts...
