As far as Indian pros are concerned, they restring only when the strings are broken or about to break. This is basically because they have to pay for the stringing and many of them for the strings too. Stringing costs anywhere upwards of Rs. 100/= depending on the place. In fact, the stringing price...

You have to wait. Nadal withdrew from Hamburg with blisters. I think it is good for him - he has been playing so many matches continuously - three tiltels, a runner-up and doubles too.

Hi Edwin Welcome to the forum and Bombay. As Sunil has suggested, MSLTA may be a good place to start. CCI has very good facilities and has a free coaching scheme for upcoming players. Vijayendra Laad (for Piperno / Natekar ) runs it. If you can't get into that scheme you need a memeber / coach to le...

Pune has very good facilities - probably one of the best in terms of per capita court availabilty. Also, there are some decent coaches. e.g Nadan Bal, Hemant Bendre etc. - especially for people aspiring to start pro tennis. All the best.

Davis Cup 2005 (WG playoff vs SWE in India!)

Also, the teams are allowed to practice on the centre court for limited time. In my opinion, we should play to our strength and choose hard courts...
