Re: Junior Circuits Abroad for Indian Kids...
Arnav Paparkar, 3rd seed, is in the semis at the J60 in Doha - which also seems to have a slihtly better field than normal J60s. The top 2 seeds ggot upset early.

Re: Junior Circuits Abroad for Indian Kids...
The J200 in KL seem to have an even tougher field than this J300 though. around 6 top-100 player each in the two entry lists. One of the toughest J200s I have seen in Asia! Hitesh and PennCharusorn (THA) are in the doubles QF with 2 wins and an upset of the 7th seeds, and face 4th Rethin and Kriish....

Re: Sumit Nagal thread
He hasn't withdrawn from Cagliari yet, he is Alt #7. He is not in the Cagliari list today though. So next week if off for sure. He has not pulled his name from the subsequent week's Rome Masters main draw or qualies just yet. So whatever is his plan, or whatever is keeping him away from the court, ...

Re: Paris Olympics 2024
If India hosts have billiards in multiple formats first, then have kabaddi and ensure Iran cannot come, then kho kho and finally Gilly danda. Cricket medals also as possibilities. We will also include some Yoga and that sport with the vertical pole (which were actually mentioned at the Olympics web...

Re: Rutuja Bhosale thread
^^ Absolutely. Qiang Wang was as high as #12. Rutuja just lost the match, but in my opinion, must have played quite well against Qiang. She won 49 points against 66 by Wang, which is not a terribly one-sided loss like I expected as a possibility. [R2] Rutuja Bhosale (IND,364) l. (WC) Qiang Wang (CHN...

Re: Sumit Nagal thread
^^^ He is not a big momentum guy, and has shown before that he can take time off and get back in good form. I am not worried too much about that. But we really don't know why he is taking 5+ weeks off. The reasons he has given do not make too much sense. He said 2-3 weeks at first, entered tournamen...

Re: Sumit Nagal thread
If that is the schedule going to be, then it is nothing but like skiving off school lesson's. Dont know who really is advising him on truancy of tournaments. Rajiv, I am pretty sure there are some other reasons behind this. Nobody will take 5+ weeks off right after reaching a career-high, dropping ...

Re: Manas Dhamne thread
Good win by Manas and good to see that he came thru a long 3 setter. In the recent past in these kind of long matches, he has had fitness issues and he either retired or lost the third set cheaply. Just as you felt, Manas ran out of gas after the long 3.5 hour match yesterday and a close first set ...

Aryan with a terrific upset of the 4th seed!! Scores updated above. 22 yr old Dev Javia is playing a good match too now (he seems to have got back to good form lately, after some 3 years in the wilderness) Update: Dev upset Lomakin as well... He was down 15-40 while serving for the match, but won th...

Re: Sahaja Yamalapalli thread
Sahaja is at the W75 in Charlottesville, but got no favors from the Draw [R1] Sahaja Yamalapalli (IND,309) vs (1) Kayla Day (USA,84) It is on the grey US clay. Not too comfortable for Sahaja, I am sure... Let us see how she does here. In doubles there, Sahaja and Kateryna Volodko (UKS) lost the R1 t...
