Re: Rohan Bopanna thread...
Doubles have basically become a super-tiebreaker game. Just play a super-tiebreaker and get done with it. Why waste time with sets?

Re: Sania Mirza Comeback - 2020-22
... vs. Sofia Kenin (USA)/Yulia Putin t seva ( UKR ) Haha, PKB... I just noticed that, and took a double-take. I mean, if she is doing "seva" to Putin, she can't be from Ukraine!! ... :D I mean, that is like calling her partner Sofia Lenin ( USA ) :D (Yulia plays for Kazakhstan, by the way, though ...

Re: US Hard court Challengers 2022
Yes, Saketh is quite patchy. He comes up with some good stuff at the net, but is just not solid from the back. Yuki and RamK are the best team, and they really do need to find a way to start playing together. Probably can't happen, till RamK starts focusing on doubles though. Meanwhile, Saketh is pr...

Re: US Hard court Challengers 2022
They are on their usual pattern. They looked good in the second set, especially on the big points, as and when the other team seemed to threaten. Got ahead early and kept that break to the end of the second set. Now the STB... Yet again :) Looks like their Houdini acts will finally end... Went down ...

Re: European Challengers 2022
[QF] (PR) Sumit Nagal (IND,504) l. (1) Zapata Miralles (ESP,89), 26 61 57 I saw the last couple of games. ZM was serving for the match for the first time at 5-4 30-15 but Sumit played very well, including winning an excellent 22 shot-rally, to break him and even it at 5-5. But a double fault and an ...

Re: Indian Volleyball
Now, this was a horrible loss, to finish the tournament at #10 out of 11 teams. India l Taiwan, 22–25 18–25 14–25. Now we can't blame the draw for our finish. We are only 10th best. Actually 11th, because I think Qatar, who didn't play this event is better than us now. Maybe even Kazakhstan is bette...

It is a good win indeed, for Mukund. He is quite talented, if he can put things together and start winning consistently. Hope he make a move now.

In classification matches, India d. Hong Kong, 23–25, 21–25, 31–29, 25–27 If we beat Taiwan tomorrow, we will finish #9. Pakistan lost badly in 3 games to China today. I expect Pakistan to finish just ahead of is at #8, though they made the QF pools with a lucky draw. Bahrain seems to be the upstart...
