If we don't travel, then we will be giving a straight walkover win to Pakistan (and they fully deserve to get it).

Oh, did they manage to send the seniors (Chhetri too?)... Looks like they screwed up massively then with all the planning. I have been traveling and had not followed up for the last week. Looks like last minute developments - and we paid the price for that!

Was tennis even at the Asiad in those years?? It got into Olympics only in 1992 at Barcelona (and was an exhibition event in 88 Seoul, iirc).

Edit: Oh, ok -- as in the list above, it was indeed there at Asiad all along. Then it is a good question why none of our stalwarts played.

Terrific, India. Our 73 is not a correct ranking (we are always somewhere in the 30 thru 50 range in world rankings). Korea used to be a bit better ranked than 27 before.
