Re: Campbell's Hall of Fame tournament, Newport, RI (Grass)

Prakash is next up against wildcard Scoville Jenkins, who just walloped Bracciali (guy who took Roddick to 5 sets on grass a couple years back).

The tournament draw is here: http://www.atptennis.com/1/posting/2007/315/mds.pdf

Wow and Backinszky had just scalped two top-20 players last week. Good luck this week, Shikha.

Re: Sania Mirza Tournaments .... (Hansol Open, Seoul next week)

Amazing win (and nice revenge there)... I'm particularly amazed she bageled a top 10 player. I'd say this is her best win ever, topping the Kuznetsova upset.

That's terrific stuff against Tursunov. But I have to wonder if Tursunov hasn't gotten over the physical/emotional toll of Davis Cup and maybe he wasn't playing his best. I'd prefer to think our guy was putting his skills on display though

Re: The Neha Uberoi thread ...

I've been a little behind with how our stars have been progressing, but I just checked out the WTA page, and good lawdy... she scalped Vesnina 3 and love? Good going, Neha...

That's too bad. Do you know the 3rd set score? The tournament website scoring pages are pitiful.

Sania - Conditioning, Foot Speed, Mobility and Coaching ..

Wow, Pat Etcheberry! Impressed. If she can get through that training, she has my utmost respect :)

I remember watching a player on the Tennis Channel (Fish maybe?) during an Etcheberry training session and screaming that it was hell LOL.

ATP Tennis/Non-India Davis Cup

This is a very good final - Croatia vs Slovakia. I'll root for Croatia as Ljubicic/Ancic (Ljubicic much moreso) have pulled off incredible wins. I mean, Ivan was the guy who singlehandedly defeated the United States... twice. Plus that team really shows heart when it comes to playing for their count...
