Re: Roland Garros Claycourt Run-Up Tournaments 2024
Why did you spare Rune? He can also sprain his ankle.

Re: Indian Table Tennis Thread ...
I believe there was a thread where we were updating who all have qualified for Paris Olympics? We should update that.

Re: BWF tournaments Mar 2024
I have heard from some distant relatives whose daughter was in Gopi's academy that initially when Gayatri was trying it out in singles he did favor her over others(read more deserving). But I wonder why this conflict of interest was allowed?

Re: ITF M25/M15 New Delhi, Chandigarh - Mar 2024
^^^ They only take orders via WhatsApp. I actually like their colors, and wanted to order some when I went home last year but they didn’t respond to my questions (re:seam length for shorts, etc.,). Saketh, Manish, SDPD and a few others actually wear their clothes. I also remember Sriram Balaji wear...

Ok so now that he has lost, what are the chances of getting in as lucky loser again?

Re: BWF tournaments Mar 2024
And Lakshya Sen enters the semi final beating LZJ 20-22, 21-16, 21-19 in a close match. That should almost seal his place for Paris.

Re: Sumit Nagal thread
But on X he mentioned "miami next" four days ago. No reason for him to skip and I don't see any intention from his side. BTW he is also added to the TOPS list. So hopefully with doing well in many tournaments and being added to TOPS now his financial woes would be over now for some time at...

And he wins 24-22, 11-21, 21-14. There was come controversy for couple of points towards the end. But I'll take that

Re: BWF tournaments Mar 2024
Suddenly it seems he got his second wind. From 2-8 it is now 13-13. Can he sustain that?

Re: BWF tournaments Mar 2024
Watching Lakshya Sen play against Antonsen. He seems to be physically drained to me. Does not appear to be fit enough to last 3 games against top players. Is he coming out of some sort of injury?

Re: England in India 2024-25 : The Pataudi Trophy
SaniaFan, Pant has to show that he has overcome his injury. It cannot be assumed, given the life-threatening accident he had, that he can automatically return to being the batsman or 'keeper he was before the injury. This is true of any sportsperson returning from injury, but particularly for Pant,...

Re: England in India 2024-25 : The Pataudi Trophy
If all the Indian players were available (i.e., excluding Pant, whose fitness and form cannot be automatically assumed after his grievous injury), what would the XI look like now? Kohli and Shami come in automatically for tests (home or away), so for home tests (against NZ and Bangladesh for instan...

Re: Sumit Nagal thread
It wouldn't do much good except that he would be beaten by Rune. I suppose he would have gotten some more money and a win. But, really, if he could not figure out how to make a guy run and tire him out and get beaten by a washed out guy, albeit with a huge serve, then so be it. He will earn some po...
