Re: India in England, summer of 2021
Kohli looks like he is in serious decline. He has been consistently poor in 2020-2022. However, some of his potential replacements like Hanuma Vihari look worse, so it’s not like he’s blocking anyone with real potential. Our next big bet is Sarfaraz khan purely based on domestics. He had decent sho...

Re: India in England, summer of 2021
On current form, India will loose by innings. This team is actually on the downward curve and may take while to bottom out. There is very few quality batsman in pipeline Only a page below the current page in this thread. Some one has hacked into my account  :p ! . How is the pitch looking. D...

Re: India in England, summer of 2021
Athithee, are u sure I said that! May be u are mistaking me with ssp  They may have slight advantage, but i am not convinced india will win this. They needed to have at least 200 runs lead to feel safe, our top order batting is not very dependable and anything less than 400 would be chased do...

Re: India in England, summer of 2021
But if u look at his performance in his last 5 test in england excluding this test it was simply below par(average of 21 runs and bowling average of 45) . The pitch had started to ease a lot when Jadeja came into bat. Still this was a great effort and should build his confidence. Jadeja batting like...

Re: Coronavirus SARS-Cov2 (COVID-19)
India reported 16103 cases and 31 deaths for Saturday , July 2nd, raising seven day average by 623 to 16065. This raise was expected as testing portals had some kinks last week resulting in low numbers. TN numbers have doubled in past 7 days and their 7 day average is around 1900. Looks like Kerala ...

Re: India in England, summer of 2021
On current form and in this pitch, 415 seems significantly low. Also, india score almost at 5 runs clip and I expect England to score at similar rate. With the way, Bumrah was playing, Siraj should have just given strike to Bumrah. India scored 35 runs in one over, a world record in Test match. Would...

Re: Coronavirus SARS-Cov2 (COVID-19)
India reported 17092 cases and 29 deaths for Friday July1st and our 7 days average increased by 165 to 15442. We will probably see a bigger jump in 7 day average tmw due to testing portal issues last Saturday

Re: Coronavirus SARS-Cov2 (COVID-19)
Actually, it is not a big jump. If i were to guess, we will see the 7 day average raise by only 100 tmw. Last Wednesday, numbers actually were abnormally low. We will again see a similar raise due to the portal glitch.

Re: India in England, summer of 2021
Tamer pitches are actually the worst case scenario for our team.this means that our bowlers will also be ineffective in addition to our batsman failing big time.
Umesh for Thakur is probably not a bad idea, considering that Umesh has shown surprisingly better batting power.

Re: Coronavirus SARS-Cov2 (COVID-19)
I think we need to adopt a strategy of testing only at hospitals and no more free testing centers. Don’t even track testing numbers otherwise. If people still want topay and get tested, that is fine. I think hospital testing will show more accurately the trends going forward. Delhi’s graph is showin...

Re: India Tour Of Ireland 2022
I agree with Raj’s take here. Harshal patel had come out and said he prefers slow pitches in an interview. Bhuvi has always been hit or miss. I don’t think he or Harshal will be really good in Australian conditions. India needs to apply the horses for courses philosophy with their selection for wc. ...
