Re: Australia tests & ODIs vs India in India, Feb-Mar 2023

Umran Malik should have been there instead of Ashwin. In flat tracks & dew condition of India, 150+ kph pace matters. All finger spinner will fail when dew will make an impact.

Re: ACC Asia Cup

Its not mandatory that a player has to be a superstar performer to play club cricket in Australia, plenty of average, international failures play domestic abroad. Rauf was just an academy player before he get club cricket offer in Melbourne. In India, he would have been asked to go for useless state...

Re: ACC Asia Cup

Harris Rauf would'nt have been a bowler like what he is now, if he had taken domestic cricket in Pakistan seriously. Its great to see someone putting club cricket in Australia, T20 leagues ahead of uaeless domestic cricket. Rauf shown so much promise that PCB was forced to pick him despite playing j...

Re: ACC Asia Cup

In 80s Sri Lankan team and in 90s Zimbabwe played lots of cricket against strong teams still they becam...

Re: India in the West Indies, July-August 2023

Not at all surprised 4 day performers with pace of 125 + can't win matches. T20 is instant cricket and for that instant performers are required not the baggage of FC stats.

Re: India in the West Indies, July-August 2023

All format players and over domestic experience is hurting the team. This format now requires Venky Iyer, Shivam Dube, Rinku, Gaikward, Jitesh, Parag.... Picking 4 out of form players at the top order is not enough to beat even a team which is not qualified for the Super 8 stage in T20I WC

Re: India in the West Indies, July-August 2023

Before 2019 WC, selectors were in confusion for number 4, dropped Rayudu and ended up in selecting players like DK, Pant, Vijay Shankar. Still now they are in confusion, and doesnt know who is n.o 4/5? Samson, Kishan, SKY all are in same boat. They will pick Kishan as n.o 4 as cover of KL Rahul, but...

Venky Iyer, Nikin Jose should be picked for SA Test series
