Yes, it is 5th challenger QF appearance for Mukund. Hope he makes it at least to the semis this time round. He rises to 291 in the new ranking system.

With this win, Mukund rises to 297 on the new atp live shadow ranking. Now, he should be able to get direct entry into most of the challengers in 2019 given that draw size would be 48.

Prajnesh is now 119 in new ATP shadow ranking. If he wins Pune, he would rise to about 105 in the new system (about 96 in the old one).

Does Thailand 25K F7 futures belong to this thread? A couple of Indian players are playing there.

Re: $2.6 Million Dubai Duty Free Championships 2018

If it is not because of an injury, it may be as simple as that he ran into someone with a strong serve and a tremendous return of serve. When one is not able to win any points on one's own serve, its natural for other parts of the game to come apart. With Yuki's currrent serve, it is always going to...

Re: End of the year Women's ITF tournaments - Indore/Solapur/Pune/Navi Mumbai

All four quarter finalists have been playing brilliant tennis this week (Doroshina, Karman, Georgina and Rutuja in that order, Rutuja has good home court support too). Doroshina is very solid, looks difficult to beat. Between Karman and Georgina, it may go to three sets with Karman having slight edg...

Re: US Open 2015, Aug 25- Sept. 13

From reports looks like Ramkumar has the best tools of the Indian lot and so often missed potent weapons in his armour. So he may not be the best yet but he is far from peaking, so he may be able to achieve highest future ranking of the Indian lot. IMHO, With some improvements in overall match strat...

Re: Asian Challengers (Apr 27 - May 17)

This is precisely the type of player that Jimmy Wang is -- a fighter to the end. RamK is young, and is clearly highly competitive at this level: a close loss to #132 is no disgrace, but RamK is the type of guy who is constantly improving and it won't be long before he is beating guys like Wang. Yes...

Re: $100K Delhi / $50K Kolkata challengers, Feb. 16-28, 2015

Somi looked all set to win this with 4-2 lead in the third set. This is when RamK raised his game with solid serves, magnificent forehands and occasional backhand winners (including one top spin pass). Even in last game he came back from 15-40 to win the match. His serve and forehand are very potent...

Saketh is real deal, not so sure about Yuki as far as this tournament is concerned. And I guess, RamK & DuckWorth may hold a surprise or two for this prediction :)
