Re: Paris Olympics 2024

Re: FIDE Candidates 2024
This event bodes well for the future of Indian chess. A world champion after Anand is a distinct possibility now. In fact rating difference of Gukesh and Dirren is not much so he has a good chance.

Re: The Slam titlists
Since you are including veteran's doubles you should include Vijay who I think won 3, 1 with Anand. 1989- Wimbledon over 35 with Anand 1998- US Open over 45 with Jose Higueras 1999- Australian Open over 45 with ?? Also runner up in 1996- US Open over 35 with Tim Wilkinson 2000- Wimbledon over 45 wit...

I didn't realise Leander was in the top 100 only for 36 weeks. Always thought it was more.

Re: Roland Garros Claycourt Run-Up Tournaments 2024
There have been great days when our heroes defeated people. But, I can't remember back to back three top-65 wins. When was the last time? Well, in *modern* and *human* history, of course. Last time was way back in Indian Wells 2011 by Somdev- Mannarino, Baghdatis and Malisse before going down to Na...
