Re: AITA ranking tournaments - 2011
Suresh Krishna won the mens singles beating Ashutosh Singh 6-4,7-6.Krishna has a big serve and excellent passing shots.Has got some decent volleys too.His forehand and 2 handed backhand drives are steady.Needs to add a bit of muscle and a little bit of fine tuning in his game should do wonders for t...

Re: Yuki Bhambri
Someone who has seen Yuki play very recently and also before his rankings took a dip has told me that Yuki seems to have 'lost' that whipping inside out forehand that he had.Maybe it is not as effective at this point. That forehand basically was a killer weapon in his armoury and if we remember he ha...

Re: The Australian Open 2011
Congratulations to Sania for qualifying. This is the best chance for Sania to get Henin's scalp.Henin is coming off from a long layoff due to elbow injury and the best chance to do some serious damage is NOW..All the best.

Re: Indian National Team news ...
Football in India will improve if we manage to teach our kids the right basics. What we usually see with our football teams is that they do not have the basic skill of ball control,be it accurate passing, receiving the pass and then controlling the ball well enough to dribble through the defence withs...

Re: Chennai Open 2011
Though it is good that Yuki got one of the qualifiers instead of the top ranked players, going by the standard of the players in the qualy draw it is definetely going to be tough for him. Lets hope either Bops or Som catch Wawrinka on one of his off days.Som is definetely is better player compared to...

Re: Sania Mirza Tournaments 2011
Absolutely fantastic.Last year one would not be surprised if she would have lost to this type of a player. In fact few years back,in Aus open Sania beat the Swiss girl in a hard fought 3 set encounter and this victory tops it for the ease with with she seems to have dismantled her opponent.

Re: Saina Nehwal Thread - WR #2 on July 15, 2010
Saina's comments do not surprise me at all.It is just a girl's thing, you know.Just look at the Williams sisters and how they look at the other players on the tour. They never get along well.Even Clijsters and Henin are never know to get along well with each other.the mens players never badmouth each ...

Is this some amazing talent or what.Shakti Solanki hurling the iron ball to a distance of more than 17 metres at age 13.The olympic gold goes for abt 22 metres.17 + metres at 13 seems to be amazing.Looking at his baby face there doesnt seem to be any issues with age. http://www.hindu.com/2010/12/02/...

Re: Indian domestic cricket/ players
so Stuart's knock was special. I think he is a terrific talent (as a classic utility player with great temperament) as he showed in the ICL. I hope he is able to catch the selectors' attention soon for ODIs and T20Is. Indeed Stuart is a player with good temperament.During last years Ranji final aga...
